1. I was a Girl Scout, Mariner, almost until I was married, at 19. That's how I met my husband, Bob. He had been a Sea Scout. Even though we went to the same high school, Long Beach Poly, we didn't know each other, because he's 4 years older than me.

2. I managed a garage for years.

3. I managed a Victoria's Secret for years.

4. When I worked at Pennzoil, I was my mother-in-law's supervisor. Boy, she did not like that.

5. I am allergic to cats.

6. In 2008, I will read 150 books.

7. I had adult onset migraines, often daily, starting in my 30's. I had three experimental treatments with botox, and now I have 2 to 4 a month. What a change. (Botox injections hurt.)
