You can tell, I've been blog-reading today. Carrie at Sommer Designs had issued a challenge. This is what she has to say:
Here's my idea: I am challenging myself to making dinner every night this week. And it has to be something I haven't made in a long time. Each morning, I'll post the recipe from the previous night's dinner, with a picture, of course. I'm aiming for quick and easy over here.
I'm inviting you to do the same! Join me, and post your dinner recipes on your blogs. Hopefully, we can all get out of this rut and try something different.
We can start a blog dinner challenge revolution! Who's in?
I already made dinner tonight. This was my menu:
Chili
Shredded Jack and Cheddar Cheese
Warm Tortillas
Carrot and Celery Sticks
Let Carrie know if you're joining the challenge

CanI have dinner at your house tonight ? hee hee ;)
Last night, we had leftover Burrito meat and beans in tortillo's...and I started frying my own Corn chips as it is SOOO much cheaper.
I just buy the corn tortilla's and a LITTLE bit of oil..cut them in 1/4's and fry a few seconds on each side, with salt.
AND..
Left over PW lasgna. It didn't start out that way, but my friend's son has cancer, and she stopped by so I nuked some from her, then sent 1/2 pan home WITH her...thus we didn't ALL get it.
Sloppy Joes went with her also-Hub made those for her family with a bag of Gordon food service chips.
They just got back from hospital LATE sunday night.
TODAY...
We are Cash strapped BIG time. I took a turkey out yesterday, and am going to Brine it for a couple hours then throw it in the oven for tonight.
We cook most nights if we can, fast food is just WAY too much.
I LOVE White Bean chicken chili also, but haven't made it in a while.
KIDS have been very busy making some cakes, and desserts...I'll post the recipes in a while..one of the cakes is more like shortbread..or ADULT cake..thick, not REAL sweet. Yum.
THat Mini Me should have been me.
