As The Garden Grows, Geranium

I love this geranium. It doesn't have a name. It's a survivor. About 8 years ago, I was pushing my youngest grandson, Oden, in his stroller, and lo and behold, I saw a large geranium plant growing out of the asphalt. Oden, and his Mom, Sharon, live in Cypress (that's in Orange County, CA.)

The next week I plucked a heathly stem to take home to Murrieta. My thought was, if it can grow out of asphalt in Cypress, it can grow in our hot summers in Murrieta. It has, it actually has flourished.

This is a photo of how beautiful and varied the leaves can be. They're fuzzy, not slick.

Beautiful. I have thing for scented geraniums. My mom got me started on them years ago, and my collection just keeps growing.
