Nicely put

There have been a lot of comments regarding ex-Governor Eliot Spitzer, of New York. What a low-down scum he his. Why did his wife have to apear with him, in his down-fall. Lots of questions and opinions.

This from bookreporter.com, puts it in another perspective:

If you spent the $4,300 you were alleged to have spent on the night of February 13th on books, you could have bought 172 hardcover books at an average price of $25.

If, as rumored, you spent $80,000 on escort services over the past decade, you could have bought 3,200 hardcover books at an average price of $25.

If you bought the books in state, none would have had to cross state lines to get to you.

If you bought them online, they may have crossed state lines and yes, you may not have paid tax, but it still would be legal.

These books could have been about sex. There are at least 172 books about sex. I am sure there also are 3,200.

If these books were trade paperbacks, double this number.

If you did this, you still would be governor.

Just something to ponder.

Wow! What an interesting way of looking at it.

Gosh, his wife's face says it all, doesn't it? I'll bet the bookies in Vegas are busy with this one - will she stay, will she go?

If it were me, you wouldn't see me for dust. That marriage is over, over, over.

I think I would get the paperbooks so I could have more. :) 6400 sounds like a lotta books. I wonder if I could find that many to like. . .

Oh God Jan. That was GREAT.
I tell my students all the time, "MAKE GOOD CHOICES". One bad choice can open a can of worms.
God spare me from all of my consequences!
