This week's PhotoHunt theme is High. I thought I'd join the hunt.
This is my grandson, Oden, on top of a boulder, at the Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Preserve. We did a hike there, on Monday. We hiked about 2 hours, both of us were happy but tired, when we got home.

Did he chase every unsuspecting critter he could find? My youngest has always been good at finding spiders and lizards when we hike.
We went for a small hike today and the snow still left made it so exhausting that I think we will wait a while before doing more.
Great shot! Must have been fun. Was this up in Sonoma County? I was in Santa Rosa myself a few weeks ago on a business trip.
