Fun Monday - Careers

Fun Monday is all about Careers, this week. The host is Irish Coffeehouse, and she wants to know what career we aspired to, as a youngster, and what career we would seek out, now.

Well, my tale is simple. I wanted to be a Math Teacher. Of course, I was anything and everything, but never a Math Teacher!

Now, for what I might aspire to be, now that I'm retired, what about Strange Fruit, with the proper training, of course.

My husband's father used to say, "if I could do it all over, I would be a math teacher." My husband did some years as a math teacher, But most of his career, he has taught chemistry and physics.

I wanted to be in IT, and now some 10 years later, I am just about to start!

If I was beginning all over again, then I'd struggle to choose between storm chaser, or Marine cameraman.

I think yours is definitely the most original! Interesting, but I would lack the hand/eye coordination to do that.

Wow! I trip over my own feet, I could never do that! But that it is why it is what You would do and not me. ;)

I think I might enjoy growing up and doing that, too.

Oh, I'm not too sure about being on top of 4 meter high flexible rods. I'm especially bothered by the word flexible. I think that if I'm on top of 4 meter high rods, they shouldn't be flexible. Not that I'm likely to be on top of 4 meter high rods. I don't even wear pumps anymore.

I loved your Fun Monday post. I must find out more about "Strange Fruit". Might be something like my Berry Fairy comment. I wanted to let you know I received my book and deck of cards just about 1 hour ago in the mail and now have my afternoon planed. I'm going to settle in the lawn swing and start reading. Thanks so much for your contests. Have a great week.
