This is nicotina, a lovely, summer annual, its fragrance will fills the garden. Hummingbirds and butterflies love the fragrant, star-shaped flowers. The fragrance is similar to jasmine. This year my bush grew to about 8 feet, until it toppled over. After I'd removed the damage, it re-grouped and started blooming again! I planted this bush about 8 years ago, and it just keeps coming back every year. Now for the bad part: all parts of plant are poisonous if eaten, so don't eat it.

That's just so beautiful! I'm jellus!
Jan, these are lovely flowers! Do you mind if I steal you picture of Obama in your sidebar? :)
So pretty Jan. It looks similar to a Petunia, but that smell must be wonderful!
About the wild Cucumbers, they are not edible. They are about the size of a small Kiwi, have prickly spines on them, and the 4 seeds are just like Watermellon seeds. After they dry I'll open one up and post some pictures.
I will have to remember that if I ever encounter this flower. It's so pretty and white.
At first I thought it was a petunia. It sounds wonderful!
It's a bush? That must be so beautiful!!
This is a lovely image.
These are pretty. The shape of them reminds me a little of morning glories.
Jan: What a lovely flower and I'm glad you shared it for TF.
Very nice photo. The white nicotiana smell the best! I wish I could smell them here right now. ;-)
