That's My World Tuesday - #2

I live in a community that is inter-woven with an 18 hole golf course; neither Bob or I golf. The golf course makes for a very nice enviornment. All that grass and other greenry is pleasent to drive or walk through. Above is a photo, un-tweaked, SOOC, of one of the ponds on the golf course. We had strong Santa Ana winds this week, so the wind was ruffling the pond surface, it looked as if diamonds were tossed across the surface.

Below is the same photo, cropped.

And below, with a textured layer.

Here, I've added a more artistic texture:

I hope my manipulations were interesting to you.
Please visit photographers from all over the world, wanting to show you their world.

First I thought it was a flock of birds, but diamonds sounds better and magical.

Thank you for the wonderful tour. This 2nd week of meme really makes us appreciate the many places that we don't usually see or ever had a chance to visit like the one you showed me in this post. Hope you get to have time to check my world too. Another great job and more to come in the coming weeks.

Very nice image and edits!
But MyWorld is more about you showing us your neck of the woods, then image manipulation.
Cheers, Klaus

P.S.: Please don't forget to put your country next to your Name in Mr. Linky. Thanks! :)

Yes, I enjoyed your manipulations. I especially like it when the original photo is shown so we can see what has been changed. Good job!

Love the different effects and nice landscape, shame you don't play though!

The pond was pretty, I loved the first photo. But each one was more interesting than the last!

The last one is Monet-like to me.
