Fun Monday

First of all, it is Fun Monday, today. Second, ChrisB. passed on this award to all the Fun Monday participants. Isn't that cool?

The theme this week is - High moments...in our lives! Our hostess with the most-est is Mariposa; she's always a great hostess. Here's what she ask:

If you could share to us 3-5 high moments in your lives...this could be funny moments...the you can't believe you did it moments...the "I told you so" moments...or the times we asked the ground to go open and eat us moments! You need not write a book to explain them, the highlights will do.
My first 3 High Moments are family moments:
1.) Marrying Bob.
2.) Giving birth to my daughters.
3.) Having my daughters give me grandchildren.

Those were wonderful moments, and really highlights for me.
Two other moments came to immediately came to mind.
The first was when I was about 14, and 5 inches taller that my Mom. She tried to slap me, again, and I grabbed her wrist, and told her to never try that again. It was a very empowering moment.
The second was after I'd been married short while, I told Bob I didn't want to be on a pedestal any longer; it was lonely up there, and not much fun. Life was much better after that.

Wow..simple...but you've summed up major events in your life! Tanks for sharing them!

Also, thanks for the shout out on the award, I have added it in my post so participants can see...I almost missed it!

Happy Fun Monday...

Happy Monday.

Mine's posted, but you'll need to scroll down beyond my Ranch Hand Breakfast photos I posted this morning on my blog to read some of my 'memories'.

I have to admit that falling in love with my husband (going on 33 years we are!) was a stellar moment. It's still a moment. That is what made it so!

Love the last two. Great stories to remind us not to relinquish our power!

You can tell your family is important to you from your 1st three and how grounded you are from the last two.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad Bob let you down off that pedestal. If he hadn't, your life might have turned out quite differently. Wonderful moments!
