Shoes
I know I'm getting older. My philosophy is "Getting Old Is Good", it's so much better than the alternative. At this stage of my life, I'm all about comfort. While reading the newspapers this week, I was struck by the New Shoes for Spring the designers are showing. Most of the shoes, below (clipped from the NYTimes), cost more than $1000. That in itself is amazing to me; but what was even more amazing was how ugly most of them were; not all but most. I'd also bet they were designed my some one who's not going to have to ever wear them; and they certainly don't look very comfortable.

I must have lost all touch with reality, because I have never spent more than 80.00 for shoes. I am shocked !!!!
Womens shoe prices have been rising in proportion to the stilettos being sold ... I am only half kidding
How I wish my back could tolerate such heights.
High healed shoes certainly are elegant on those who know to walk the line!
