Sky Watch Friday

This week, I was lucky enough to catch the fog creeping over the mountains from the coast. It always reminds me of the Sandburg poem.

Fog (Carl Sandburg)

The fog comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

Be sure to visit the SkyWatch site, and join in the fun, if you want.

This is such an incredible photo. I can't even find the proper adjective to adequately describe it.

What a lovely photo. I adore the way the mountain just manages to peep over the fog.
I'm glad books are still going strong, we all still use them assiduously. My daughter's latest, came out in Feb. is already going into a second editionand also an American version. She's already busy wth the next one.
Reading is so important to stimulate the imagination.
Happy Skywatch(ing).

Beautiful picture and perfect poem to go with it. I think I remember that poem from elementary school.
