These photos were taken at the Long Beach Marina, recently. Above is the sky and the mast of a schooner. Below is an ant's eye view of the sky past the anchor, and opening, in the bow of a boat.

I like the ant's eye view but the mast is also a terrific shot.
It looks like the mast is scraping a clear spot out of the clouds.
I love clouds. Does that make me sound doofish?
What interesting perspectives on these two photos! Just wonderful!. My skies today at Sacred Ruminations are similar to the skies in your first photo.
Hugs and blessings,
Excellent SWF post! Love both! The top one gets my attention, but the bottom one is really, really interesting and cool.
2 brill shots, esp the 2nd.
Love the shots, especially the second one. it gives a really unique view.
Happy SWF!
Those are such cool shots. Very different, and I love those clouds.
Happy SWF.
Strange clouds and a special eye view !
The ant´s view was so mystical that I couldn´t understand what was going on in there...which was great!
That mast looks like a huge needle waiting to sew up the sky fabric! Stunning pics!
