Grass, we have grass. Grass is a great G word. I took this shot from the ground, looking through our over-grown grass. I wanted it to look, "As high as an elephant's eye." I know that quote is about corn, oh well. We've had so much rain lately, the grass has growing like a weed. It'd be great to hide Easter eggs in. The tallest patch of grass is 18" tall. See the lavender behind the grass? It's actually 5 feet tall! Bob cut the grass yesterday, now it's back to normal.

GRass! That's a rare species in my garden at the moment!!
I wish we had grass! Well, we do. It's just a lovely shade of brown right now. When we went to CA a few weeks ago my 2 year old looked out the car window and yelled, "Dirt Mama!" Ours had been covered by snow for about 3 months, so he was super excited to see it.
I love lavender..that is a beautiful photo of it!!
your grass is great. we have snow. I thought those were grape hyacynths for a second there.
The green green grass of home. (You can use these same pictures for L--lawn and lavendar.)
I wish that is what it looked like out my window :) We just have snow here. I love the lavender peaking its head out from behind the grass.
The only saying I know from corn is it's supposed to be "knee high by the 4th of July"! I like yours as well!
Well, sure it is...tall as an elephant's eye.. just look how on that window it is! hahahh... well, from the "worm cam" anyway. My grass is still dead and brown...for a few months yet.... sigh....
It's good to touch the green, green grass of home !
I love Lavender, but it doesn't do well in the wet and wind here. Your grass is incredible - we still have mud!
Oh to see green grass again - it has been so hot and dry here!
Grass really is a great G word! :)
I`m waiting for spring to come, so the grass will be green again here in Norway. I like cutting it. I love the smell.
Lavender smells heavenly. :)
Great G and nice photos!
Have a nice day:)
Thank you for your visit!
My son plays the guitar on the left of the photo!
Is the flower lavender , Jacinth or bluebell jacinth? So nice among the green colour of grasses ...
miss Yves
Great post for the letter G. I didn't even think of it. Love the lavender in the background. I love it but it doesn't love me...achoo!!
