A winner

Yeah, for me.  I won something.  A movie, DVD.  I really wanted to win, so I didn't spread the word (selfish, I know).  The contest holder was Carrie, "Congratulations Mom [Jan!] I'll send you out the DVD after the holidays... and don't worry I already have your address. :o)" 

A treat for moi

Earlier this month the photogenic and well-traveled Katney posted an Odd Shot, and a quiz, the winner would receive a yummy prized, from her winter home in the Yakima Valley.  She had two winners, and one of them was me.  In the post, this week I received a bag of Chukar Cherries Bridge Mix.  Yum.  Thanks, Katney!

Did you see this give away at How About Orange? Well, I won! Out of 584 people who said what their favorite poster is, from The Poster List, I won! I don't normally enter give aways like this, but I've always loved their posters. So since, I won, I got to choose two.

The first one I chose is "Keep Calm and Rock On", in sage. Don't you think that's a great motto.

And, I chose "Antenna Birds", I love the graphics on it and antennas are much history, now.

Recently, I won something from Louise, and now something from Jess; maybe I should enter more give aways.

Jan, you got something from Albuquerque

I really did get something in the U.S. mail from Albuquerque. While visiting Louise, she of The Potted Frog, recently, I entered a give away, and I won, well I placed 3rd and there were 3 winners. Louise is very cool, and sent me what Winner #1, and Winner #2 didn't want. I'm so lucky, I love what I received. This is what was in my package - a hand-made JOY banner and a hand-made note from Louise.

Here's the banner hanging over the fireplace, which is where I'll probably place it each and every Christmas. What do you think? I'm pretty lucky, huh?

I won Wilson

Wilson has come to our home, to stay. Lori from The Morninglori Vine gave him as her prize in the One World One Heart give-a-way, and I won. Yippee. Thank you, Lori.

As you can see, Wilson is very cute. He has made himself right a home. He claimed the twig chair, right away.

Next, he'll probably want to go bike riding with Bob.
